Queen Elizabeth Invites ‘James Bond’ To Open London Olympics

The Queen of England, Elizabeth The Second, has reportedly asked actor Daniel Craig to open the London Olympic Games 2012 as James Bond. She has also asked ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ director Danny Boyle to shoot a short film with Daniel Craig to launch the event scheduled in July later this year.

According to sources the actor –director duo of Daniel Craig and Danny Boyle  have been invited to the palace to shoot the film. In surprising move the Queen herself has shown willingness to play a cameo in the film.

The source has been quoted by the contactmusic.com: ”It’s a huge coup for BBC producers and Danny to be allowed into the palace and have the Queen involved.

”They wanted the most iconic British film character inside the building most associated with London and with the monarch – and they got it.

The Buckingham palace is one of the most regal buildings that exist in modern era and houses the Queen of England  is also gearing up for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June to mark her 60th year on the throne .
