Yes, you all read it right. The very erotic novel was mentioned by Manish Tewari, a Congress leader during heated debate on Article 370. Filmi Files is the best place to get in touch with the latest tinsel town news.

Yesterday, BJP passed the bill to scrap Article 370 which gives a special status to Jammu & Kashmir. Obviously, it didn’t go well with the oppositions. There were many debates since then. One of the most highlighted and funny moments of the debate was from today. When Home minister Amit Shah asked Congress leader Manish Tewari to explain the party’s stand on the bill. To this, shockingly, he responded, “Angreezi ki ek kitaab hai.. har cheez kaali ya safed nahi hoti.. there are 50 shades of grey in between.”

This statement came as a surprise for many and it took a very humorous way. Textiles minister, Smriti Irani tweeted in response to ANI news editor that she asked him to google about the novel in the parliament.

Congress leader definitely needs to know about the books and movies he quotes to avoid any future mishaps. 50 shades of grey is an erotic 3 part novel by EL James. It was later adapted in 50 shades trilogy movie.

During all this fiery debates and discussions, this statement surely made some people laugh, Twitter instantly made countless memes and spoofs out of it. Although Manish Tewari might be embarrassed after knowing what actually the book is all about.
