Kartik Aryan has been kicked out of the Dharma movie, Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor and debutant actor Lakshya. What went wrong?
In 2019 Dharma announced Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aryan and Lakshya. Some parts of the movie had already been shot back in 2020 and since the movie required shots outside the country the shooting was put on hold during the lockdown and the rising Covid-19 situation.
Dharma has now announced that Kartik Aryan is no longer a part of Dostana 2 because of unprofessional behaviour and creative differences but sources say that it was getting difficult to keep up with Aryan because of his constant delays for the shoot and it is believed that the production house will never work with Kartik again.
He promised to complete the film multiple times over the last few weeks but backed out with an excuse all the time. The sudden cancellations from his end also caused trouble with everyone’s date schedule and the entire production and cast were going haywire. For those of you who don’t know Kartik and Jahnvi are said to be dating.
An end was put to all of this when Jahnvi Kapoor had to drop a movie Mr Lele with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar as the date schedule was clashing she opted out from it, but later because of Kartik, she couldn’t shoot for Mr Lele or Dostana 2 either as the schedule of Dostana was cancelled last minute. According to the reports the makers will have to bear the cost of Rs.20 crores…Sheesh, that’s a lot of money!!
After the entire thing, Kangana comes out in support of Kartik on Twitter, calling the entire thing a part of the nepotism act. Ever since SSR, Kangana started the debate of nepotism and asked to leave Kartik Aryan alone!
Kangana’s tweet has created a buzz among Kartik’s fan as they started #boycottdostana2. Among the back lash faced on nepotism the latest update over the controversy resulted in kJo unfollowing Kartik Aryan on Instagram while Kartik is still following Karan Johar.
The actor hasn’t break the silence on the matter till now, this makes the truth wired up with the sources information. Bollywood and Dostana fans are eagerly waiting to know who will be the new cast for the role. Keeping our fingers crossed!
