Top Ten Cliched Bollywood Dialogues

Top Ten Cliched Bollywood Dialogues

By Ayushi Agarwal

Hindi film industry is full of cliched dialogues and scenes. Earlier, the films had quite predictable climaxes but as the time passed, Bollywood learned. However, there are some evergreen dialogues which will never go out of style. You might both laugh and cringe at the same time. Enjoy.

1. Main tumhare bachche ki Maa banne wali hoon.

Well this dialogue never seems to get old. Be it a 70’s Bollywood movie or 21st century movie, a woman appears out of nowhere only to tell that she’s pregnant to the man with whom she once had a one night stand. This dialogue is a game changer.

2. Bhagwan ke liye mujhe chod do.

A devilish looking man mainly the villain of the film forcing a woman to sleep with him and the woman begs for mercy by requesting him to leave her if he believes in God. Classic.

3. Kanoon ke haath lambe hote hain.

This dialogue is mostly used by the cops. After reaching the crime scene, police catches the villain who is already beaten to death almost by the hero and the police eventually arrests the bad guy and gives out a statement that no matter what the crime or who the criminal is, the law will always be able to catch them.

4. Bhagwan ke ghar me der hai andher nahi.

This dialogue is used to give hope to the hopeless hero or heroine who is fighting to get justice. A quite wise person tells them to believe in God.

5. Tum mere liye marr chuke ho.

Usually in a Bollywood movie, this dialogue is used by a wealthy man whose son wants to marry a poor girl because obviously status and money is more important than love.

6. Betiyaan to paraya dhan hoti hain.

Ummm okay! This is not only limited to Bollywood movies only, it’s very much relevant in real life. A girl getting married and while she’s leaving her house someone will definitely say this in a movie. Well according to her relatives or even parents, she’s someone else’s property after she’s married.

7. Bhagwan Maine aaj tak tumse kuch nahi manga.

This dialogue is the most melodramatic. When the hero/heroine had no option left to save their loved ones, they’d turn up to God and literally blackmail them.

8. Main tumhare bina nahi jee sakti.

What better way to express your love for someone than this? When the heroine wanted to confess her love for the hero she’d use this dialogue and it worked like magic and the hero would come running towards her.

9. Kya isi din ke liye paal poss ke bada kiya tha?

When hero’s mother had lost all hope for her son, she’d instantly use this dialogue eventually making the scene emotional.

10. Ab sab oopar wale ke haath me hai.

Earlier, doctors had no or very small dialogues in Bollywood movies and when he was unable to do anything else to the patient who was critical, he’d use this dialogue.

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer movie recorded the highest opening collection for a Hindi movie. The film earned an enormous amount of ₹51.50 crore on its first day. The film released on 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanti and it seemed that the film has made the most out of the holiday.

War is a spy action thriller film which has some jaw dropping action sequences between Hrithik and Tiger which is choreographed by international stunt directors Paul Jennings and Jack Reacher who are also famous for choreographing The Darl Knight’s action scenes.

The audience are definitely loving the film and despite a weekday release, War is going on stronger. Even the release of Joker and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy doesn’t seem to have any effect on it.

War has recorded the highest collection in a single day for a Hindi movie only to be second to the Hollywood film Avengers: Endgame which opened to ₹53 crore.

The movie will easily break any record which comes in its way if it runs in this pace and this film has also recorded the highest occupancy in Tiger’s career and is the seventh-highest for Hrithik, amassing a bumper occupancy opening of 70 percent. Filmi Files is the best stop to take a sneek peek about the latest tinsel news and happenings.

Laxmmi Bomb: Akshay Kumar’s transgender look is fierce

By FF Network

Superstar Akshay Kumars has been on a roll this year. While the trailer of the movie Housefull 4 is rib tickling, he’s again coming up with an interesting role that’s indeed going to be a challenge for him.

Akshay Kumar shared the first look of Laxmmi Bomb on Twitter and needless to say, his deathly stare can literally kill anyone. In the poster, he’s draped in a saree standing in front of the Goddess Laxmmi. He is portraying the role of a transgender and Kiara Advani will share the screen space with him in the film.

“Navratri is about bowing to the inner goddess and celebrating your limitless strength. On this auspicious occasion, I am sharing with you my look as Laxmmi. A character I am both excited and nervous about… but then life begins at the end of our comfort zone… isn’t it?” Akshay wrote in his tweet.

The movie is a Hindi remake of 2011 Tamil horror comedy Muni 2: Kanchana. It is set to release on 5 June 2020 and this spine chilling poster is enough for the moviegoers to watch Akshay Kumar as Laxmmi in Laxmmi Bomb. Filmi Files is the best to look for checkout the latest movie reviews.

Film Review: ‘War’

Film Review: War

By Neha Bora

War is the story of one very dashing and muscular ‘patriot no. 1’ called Kabir (played by Hrithik Roshan.) He works for the secret service, and is on a mission to catch India’s ‘enemy no. 1’ Illyasi.

Somewhere along the way Kabir turns ‘villain’ and has to face his once student and current ‘patriot no. 1’ Khalid. The story is a face off between the two ‘hunks’, the student and the teacher and the quest to save the country.

There are instances of ‘doubling-crossing’ and mentions of ‘plastic-surgery’ followed by grand schemes to simultaneously destroy and save the nation. All of these however are secondary because the movie heavily relies on the factor of ‘eye candy’ in the movie.

Hrithik Roshan’s bronze tan and beefy arms cover the screen like black clouds covering the sky on a rainy day. Tiger Shroff tries to emulate the same effect to a minor yet significant degree.

Vaani Kapoor is a ten-minute character who barely makes an impression on the story except for the hero’s love-interest check-box. The entire story is ridden with loop-holes, and hard-to-believe twists and turns but none of them register against the ballet-like fight sequences choreographed by Paul Jennings and Jack Reacher (previously associated with The Dark Knight and GOT) that make the entire body of the film.

The action is beautiful to watch, beautiful enough to make one wonder and try to figure out how and when violence came to be entirely accepted and normalized in today’s world.

The graceful bodied of the two actors on top of everything else make the fight sequences even more entertaining to watch. The flying round about kick delivered by Khalid in every fight sequence is especially worth noting and will be, I believe, copied time and again by Tiger Shroff’s fans.

The special effect works without standing out. It sets the story squarely into the rough yet sturdy mood of an action movie. The film is effectively directed and we get engulfed into the fire and explosion of its spectacle. It doesn’t commit the mistake ofpretending to preach love or morality to an audience that has come to enjoy blood and bullets.

The actors perform as well as actors in Bollywood action films always have. Hrithik Roshan is handsomely effortless in the role of the charming goon/cop/agent that must have become second nature to him by now. Tiger Shroff is as stoic and awkward in his acting as he is graceful in his ‘gymnastics’. Ashutosh Rana and the character played by him barely exist. Vaani Kapoor as Naina graces the screen for less than 15 minutes, 5 out which she spends dancing and looking good.

Anupriya Goenka is part of the field team and yet barely manages to contribute to the action of the film. Siddharth Anand therefore continues the long legacy of the futile female character in an action movie, both through his writing and through his direction.

Since, this movie has what many believe to be the ‘two’ most talented dancers of Bollywood, it is imperative that we talk about the dance too.

Hrithik Roshan is poetry in motion and as always absolutely beautiful and Tiger Shroff keeps up with him quiet well but it clear that ‘student’ ko ‘teacher’ se abhi bohot seekhna hai. The film gives the audience a dance-off between the two in the song ‘Shiv-Shankar’ and this audience enjoys thoroughly.

I walked into a packed movie-hall early in the morning, even while ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and ‘Joker’ were playing in adjacent screens. The estimated budget of the film is 200Cr and with scenes of the first-ever Bollywood filming in the Arctic Circle and a holiday to open on, it is set to do well. Based on the opening reports from various sources it is set to do business of anywhere near 20 Cr on the first day.

It is a holiday, and if you do not like films in the English language, then take your family and go watch ‘War’, you will find yourself appreciating the kind of violence that you would have condemned had it not been choreographed so well. Amidst the explosions and grace, you might even forget that the story is a copy paste of all the action films ever made in Bollywood. Filmi Files is the best place to look for movie reviews.

Housefull 4 Looks A Laugh Riot!

Housefull4 Looks A Laugh Riot!

By FF Network

Houseful franchise is coming back with its fourth masterpiece- Housefull 4. Who saw that coming? Honestly, we didn’t. You would think they learned by the third time. But maybe 4 is their lucky number.

The cast obviously includes Akshay Kumar, who has relentlessly carried this movie on his fit and fine shoulders for a decade now. Other cast members are Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol and the other Housefull 4 -franchise-essential, Riteish Deshmukh.

The story line of the fourth movie is based on time travel to 600 years ago. And we are very scared that the brilliance of it might prove threatening for X-Men’s Back to the Future. Aren’t you?

While Filmi Files is nearly done with the stale scripts and generic comedy of the Houseful franchise, we haven’t learned to gibe up hope yet. Being the movie buffs that we are, we will be looking forward to this time-travelling comedy. The poster seems good enough to incite interest. Akshay Kumar poses as a bald and angry man, while Kriti Sanon is her bubbly self in the poster.

The other actors are also there, and that is more than what can be said. Oh! And for some reason Riteish Deshmukh seems to be in a woman’s clothes and a woman’s hairdo, yet again! The movie is scheduled to release on 26th October, 2019. Filmi Files advise you that you should be watching this!

Trailer For Marzawaan Appreciated For Killer Looks!

Marjaavaan Trailer: Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh giving Ek Villain vibes. Marjaavaan trailer dropped today and it is quite action packed. The 3 minutes 16 seconds trailer is full of rhyming dialogues and Siddharth Malhotra beating up the odd guys.

The film stars Siddharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet. Siddharth is playing the role of a Hindu man who falls in love with a Muslim girl Tara Sutaria.

Interestingly, she is playing a dumb girl in her 2nd film. Siddharth Malhotra is bad guy turned good in love and the villain Riteish Deshmukh who is vertically challenged doesn’t like it. Both Siddharth and Tara gets married and Riteish Deshmukh, the villain will make attempts to kill his wife.

The ending of the trailer however, shows Tara dying in the arms of Siddharth Malhotra but we hope it doesn’t happen because who doesn’t want a happy ending?

Trailer For Marjaavaan Appreciated For Killer Looks!

Marjaavaan is a communal love story and Siddharth with all his strength will fight back in order to save his wife. The movie will also have an item song performed by Nushrat Barucha and a special appearance by Ravi Kishan.

After watching the trailer, Social Media users found way too many similarities between Marjaavaan and Ek Villain. The hero and villain duo, Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh, it rains quite often and while making the entry, Riteish is humming Ek Villain song in Marjaavaan.

Let’s hope this will be as good as Ek Villain or better. Marjaavaan is releasing on 8 November. Filmi Files wishes all the best to the whole cast of Marjaavaan.

Amitabh Bachchan Selected Unanimously For Dadasaheb Phalke Award

By Sanskriti Tomar

The Dadasaheb Phalke Awards are our country’s highest honour in the field of cinema. They’re the most prestigious awards given out to artists of the film industry, and were first awarded in 1969 to commemorate Dadasaheb Phalke’s contribution to indian cinema, who is often known as the ‘father of indian cinema’. Phalke directed India’s first full length feature film (Raja Harishchandra).

This year, the honour of Dadasaheb Phalke Awards is been bestowed on one of Bollywood’s veteran actor and a legend. AMITABH BACHCHAN shall rightfully receive this prestigious award in 2019. Bachchan started his career the same year as the first of these awards was given.

His first movie, where he was merely a voice narrator came out in 1969. The movie was Mrinal Sen’s Bhuvan Shome, and it became a National Award winner. He did his first acting role the same year in the film Saat Hindustani, which was directed by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas.

Bachchan’s fame came later though. He was recognised as a serious actor only after his role in Zanjeer(1973), which was directed by Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan. The duo was often known as Salim-Javed and was the mastermind behind the impeccable screenplay of the movie.

Bachchan then climbed the ladder of recognition, love, fandom and fame with movies like Sholay and Deewaar, 1975. His comic role in Chupke Chupke was loved by all, and he became famous for his subtle comedies too.

More recently, Bachchan has given some back to back formidable performances in movies like Paa, Piku, Pink etc. Bachchan also has a Hollywood feather in his cap where he made an appearance in the movie The Great Gatsby, opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire.

The Dadasaheb Phalke Awards are the highest honour in the field of cinema, and the award committee could not have chosen a more deserving actor than Amitabh Bachchan. Filmi Files offers its hearty congratulations to the magnanimous actor, and hopes to see more of him on the big screen!!
