“I had no hesitation. I am not worried about the world. It was the most amazing photo shoot and I can proudly say that these were the best days of my life. Not once did I feel awkward or embarrassed,” she said.
When asked if she did it to garner all the publicity, Sherlyn said, “There is no hidden agenda as such. I wanted to be the first Indian to do it and I went ahead and did it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My sole agenda is to break stereotypes… pushing the envelope gives me a great high.”
“I was worried only about my sister and mother… what they would say. I think one should not think too much about others, whether industry will give me work or not or people will respect me or not,” she added.
Sherlyn, who worked alongside Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ (2009), says she has no idea if this act will boost her Bollywood career.
“If it does… great. I don’t know where my career is headed from here on. I don’t know what I will do next, feature film or reality show or endorsements. All I know that whatever I do will be excellent work. I want to go ahead in life and not look back,” she said.
