‘Ek Tha Tiger’ Crosses 200 Crore Mark!

If Rajesh Khanna was the first ‘Superstar’ and Amitabh Bachchan the first ‘Megastar’ then a new word would have to be coined for Salman Khan as his latest movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ collections went past a whopping 210 crore in mere 11 days. Salman Khan should be called the first ‘Gigastar’ of Bollywood as the word ‘Giga’ takes the word ‘Mega’ to higher level.

After making an easy entry into the Rs 100 crore club ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ went on to become the first Bollywood film to cross Rs 200 crore mark after ‘3 Idiots’.

Confirming these astounding figures film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#EkThaTiger 12-day total of *approx* Rs 175 cr nett is from India alone. #EkThaTiger India + Overseas combined biz *after 2nd Weekend* is Rs 210 cr +. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER…(SIC)”.
