Sonakshi Sinha and rapper turned actor Badshah starrer Khandaani Shafakhana is releasing on 2 August, tomorrow.
Shilpi Dasgupta’s debutant directorial is a comedy drama film also starring Varun Sharma and Annu Kapoor in supporting roles.
The movie portrays the life of a middle class Punjabi girl, Babita “Baby” who is struggling to keep up with day to day bills of her family, amounting loans over her head.
Suddenly out of nowhere, she gets an infamous fertility clinic from an estranged uncle that she has to run or get burdened by debts.
With the hush hush society frowning down upon her taking on the fertility clinic, she is out there to break the taboos and open their minds.
It is indeed a very refreshing story with some life lessons, can be a deal maker or breaker for Sonakshi Sinha. Her movies aren’t doing well in the box office so it’d be interesting to see the initial reactions from the audience.
