Singing show Indian Idol in headlines for all the wrong reasons

By FF NETWORK

The Supreme Court of India gave out the verdict of Ayodhya land dispute in favour of a trust to build the Ram Janmbhoomi temple. The court also ordered the government to give an alternate 5 acres land to the Sunni Waqf Board for the purpose of building a mosque. Most of the people have accepted this decision happily but there are some unhappy faces who have condemned it.

Indian Idol judge Vishal Dadlani is amongst the unhappy lot who showed his stance via a tweet.

He targeted the Chief Justice of India, Mr. Gogoi and wrote some harsh words. The CJI was one of the five judges who gave the verdict and has retired after serving the Indian Constitution.

Vishal Dadlani’s tweet isn’t only inappropriate but also a contempt of court and he is being bashed left, right and centre for his statement. He is being trolled mercilessly on Twitter.

#SackDadlaniFromIndianIdol & #BoycottIndianIdol are some of the trends which are trending currently on social media.

Indian Idol is also receiving a lot of backlash not only because of Dadlani, also because the show has once again appointed Anu Malik as a judge who has been accused by singer, Sona Mahopatra. After the accusation, Indian Idol dropped Anu Malik from the show for some days but the show reappointed him after he wrote a clarification post on Twitter.

Sona slammed him, and 2 more renowned singers Shweta Pandit & Neha Bhasin accused him calling him a sexual predator. Although, Indian Idol doesn’t really seem to care and hasn’t issued any statement regarding the matter. Filmi Files will bring more Bollywood masala news to you soon so stay tuned.

It will be interesting to see how far this controversy goes and will the show remove its infamous judges?
