P. V. Sindhu, one of India’s Badminton Superstar, recently created history. Sindhu beat Nozomi Okuhara, the Japanese shuttler, on Sunday.
As a result, she became the first indian to win BWF World Championship gold. Filmi Files has been tracking the ripples being created by this sports star, in the B-Town.
It comes as no surprise that Akshay Kumar is set to star in the biopic of the badminton star.
The actor has been giving back to back patriotic and biographical movies. Therefore, it is only fitting that he makes a movie on P. V. Sindhu. Akshay will be playing the role of Pullela Gopichand, Sindhu’s coach, in his next movie.
Hence, after this victory at BWF Championship, the coach was asked how he felt about the upcoming biopic of the badminton prodigy.
The coach was gushing with acknowledgment and praise for Akshay Kumar and gave his blessings to the biopic of his student, P. V. Sindhu.
After watching Amir Khan in Dangal and Shah Rukh Khan in Chak De, watching Akshay in Sindhu’s biopic will beinteresting. Parallels will be drawn with Amir as well as Shah Rukh, and Akshay’s performance will be kept under a microscope.
