Ananda Marchildon , a Dutch model, who won the television show “Holland`s Next Top Model” has won a lawsuit against the Elite model agency after she was dropped for having hips that were supposedly too large.
Now she will receive the first prize of 75,000 euros after this lawsuit. When Ananda won the finals of the 2008 edition of Holland’s Next Top Model, she was promised 75,000 euros’ worth of modelling contract. However, after the first 10,000 euros’ the agency told her that no more assignments were coming as she was ” too fat”.
She has recently signed one last assignment from underwear manufacturer Sloggi. The company said in a statement that there was nothing wrong with her hips or her backside and they were happy to put her backside on full display
