Hollywood’s leading actor John Cusack received the 2,469th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today. He was accompanied by his sister, actress Joan Cusack and prominent among others who attended the ceremony were Dan Aykroyd and Billy Bob Thornton.
Cusack who has played memorable roles in movies like Sixteen Candles, High Fidelity, Serendipity and 2012 said, “”I love working with actors, I love being around them, they’re such great spirits. To the best of my knowledge, I’ve tried to screw my career up as much as I possibly could, but even with all my best efforts to screw it up, I managed to have lasting friendships, and some of the best friends I’ve ever met in the business.”
In his acting career spanning three decades John Cusack has worked in more than 50 films. His latest movie ‘The Raven’ in which he is playing the 19th century poet Allen Poe will be released this Friday in North America.
