Jennifer Lawrence is now the hottest commodity in Hollywood. Her name is selling like a hot cake and within three days since ‘The Hunger Games’ released globally she has become the darling of the mainstream media. ‘The Hunger Games’ smashing success has put her well above Kirsten Stewart who has been extremely popular among cine goers ever since ‘Twilight’s success stormed the world.
Lawrence was a not stranger in Hollywood before ‘The Hunger Games’. She came in the spotlight with her memorable performance in ‘ A Winter’s Bone’ which received rave reviews and went to the Oscars.
Hollywood runs on big numbers which ‘ A Winter’s Bone’ could not deliver. She remained a star with immense potential till ‘The Hunger Games’ happened. No wonder the success of this 2012 blockbuster has changed her life forever.
“I’m now a role model for young girls, so my language has to change a lot,” Lawrence had said in an interview recently. “I know that would change a lot of decisions work-wise personally … as far as my next roles, because there would be young girls watching what I’m doing and emulating,” she added.
Yesterday she was seen at Madrid Premiere in Spain where she walked the red carpet event for ‘The Hunger Games’. While interacting with the media Jennifer revealed her future plans and the kind of roles she is interested to do.
‘I want to be Bridget Jones,’ she said. Sporting a Victoria Beckham number she smiled and reached out to her fans who gathered there in large number. British tabloid ‘Daily Mail’ reported from Madrid, “She loyally went up and down the red carpet, signing as many autographs as possible.”
“Jennifer also says that while she is a famous face across the globe now, she is yet to reap the rewards of stardom. But she does have a plan in place for when she sees some money. ‘When I get my first real cheque, I want to bathe in a pool full of pasta..’ she revealed.
