India’s first Amazon original web series Inside Edge has now been released. It hvas created a lot of buzzes before its release. According to media reports it has all that you always wanted to know about the inside world of cricket.
From match fixing, sports politics to the involvement of entertainment industry, it touches upon all the issues and more. It also features the stellar cast of Richa Chadha, Angad Bedi, Vivek Oberoi, Sayani Gupta, Sarah Jane Dias and Sanjay Suri among others.
The inside edge web series revolves around the dark side of cricket world including match fixing and sports politics as well as involvement of entertainment industry. It is is fictional and has nothing to do with anyone from the real life, its makers said.
The web series features Richa Chadha, Angad Bedi, Vivek Oberoi, Sayoni Gupta, Sarah Jane Dias, and Sanjay Suri among others.
Vivek Oberoi denies that his character is based on Lalit Modi. “My character is a mastermind whose omnipresence is everywhere who acts like a puppeteer behind people who are into match-fixing, scandal, money, and business,” said the actor.
Richa Chadha will be seen as an actress and owner of a cricket team. She says that her character is not based on any real person. It will have 10 episodes and it is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Filmi Files will bring more posts soon.
