Heartbroken mother, inconsolable Shehnaaz Gill say final goodbye to Sidharth Shukla

Acclaimed television and film actor Actor Sidharth Shukla passed away at the age of 40 and left everyone in the industry shocked and stunned. Today Sidharth Shukla was laid to rest around 4 pm at Mumbai’s crematorium here as thousands of fans arrived to pay their last respects. Several colleagues of the BiggBoss 13 winner that may include Rashmi Desai, Aly Goni, Nikki Tamboli, Rakhi Sawant, Mika Singh also paid their last respects.

Earlier, Sidharth was brought dead to the Cooper Hospital on Thursday morning, according to forensic department head Dr R Sukhdeve. The actor reportedly died in the morning of Thursday due to a heart attack at the age of 40. Ever since the news of Sidharth Shukla, the fans of the actor have been sharing their grief and condolences on social media.

Sidharth’s popularity skyrocketed after he won Bigg Boss 13. The Sidharth had developed some great relationships when he participated in BiggBoss 13. And, his closeness with Shehnaaz Gill was the most remarkable.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz’s close bonding

Sidharth and Shehnaaz shared a stunning bond ever since their Bigg Boss 13 days. The two frequently sent the internet into a meltdown with their photos and videos. They became so popular on social media that their fans created highly popular hashtag#SidNaaz. Now with the tragic death of Sidharth, it will be the end of this popular hashtag. 

Earlier last year Sidharth had revealed on Bigg Boss 14 that he had a girlfriend. When a task was given to contestants on BiggBoss 12, Sidharth, Hina Khan, and Gauhar Khan happened to be their “Toofani seniors”. When Gauhar reportedly got close to Sidharth, he became defensive and jokingly said “I have a girlfriend at home.” To this Gauhar replied, “Good for you and I am happy for you. Fans became so emotional after hearing these words that they went berserk and trended “Sidnaaz” on Twitter. 

Sidharth was feeling uneasy a day before

The actor complained of uneasiness a couple of hours before his death. According to a report in Times of India, when Sidharthreturned home at around 9:30 he was feeling uneasy. His mother and Shehnaaz were at home. They gave Sidharth nimbu paaniand later some ice cream so that he could feel better. But, it did not assist. Later Sidharth’s mother and Shehnaaz asked him to take some rest. Sidharth was unable to sleep and asked Shehnaazto stay with him and pat his back. 

At around 1:30 am Sidharth slept in her lap and she slowly moved away. She too slept and when she woke up around 7 am she found him in the same position with no body movement. When she tried to wake Sidharth, he did not move.  Shehnaazimmediately rushed from 12th floor to 5th floor where his family resided. She told his sister about it and they called their family doctor who informed that Sidharth was no more.

Shehnaaz Gill is inconsolable

Ever since Shehnaaz discovered that Sidharth is no more, she has been in an inconsolable state. Her condition is so bad that when she saw the ambulance carrying the mortal remains of the late actor she began running behind it. Here is the video:

After the death of Sidharth another video of him with Shehnaazhas gone viral. The video is from their recent visit to Bigg Boss OTT. In the video, Shehnaaz confidently told host Karan Joharthat boyfriends leave but her bond with Sidharth is for life. Below is the video: 

A timeline of Sidharth’s career

Sidharth began his stint in showbiz as a model and the late actor made his acting debut with the 2008 TV show Babul KaAangann Chootey Na. He also featured in many other shows that may include Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi, CID, Dil Se Dil Takk, and Balika Vadhu, among others. Sidharth’s role in the show Balika Vadhu earned him massive popularity and made him a household name just like his co-star late PratyushaBannerjee who played the role of Anandi. It is strange reality that both the stars of the popular show are no more today and that too at a young age.

Apart from Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth Shukla had also won Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. The late actor also took part on JhalakDikhhla Jaa 6. Sidharth was also an integral part of Bigg Boss 14 as a “Senior” for a couple of weeks. He hosted several shows that may include  Savdhaan India and India’s Got Talent.

Sidharth Shukla also worked in movies like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania that also featured Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Sidharth was also seen in “Business In Kazakhstan”. The late actor last lead role was in the web series ‘Broken But Beautiful-3’
