India is celebrating its 72nd Independence Day today. Rakshabandhan is falling on the same day and it brings three big movie releases on the holiday. Cine goers couldn’t have asked for a better day to watch some of the very exciting movies releasing today.
(1) Mission Mangal:
It is directed by Jagan Shakti and has an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi and Kirti Kulhari playing the role of Indian scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). This movie will show the struggles and efforts of the real life scientists who successfully launched Mar’s Orbiter Mission making Mars more accessible to explore.
Akshay Kumar already has an impression of doing these type of movies while the other star cast of the film has to leave a mark to be remembered in an Akshay Kumar starrer film.
(2) Batla House:
Director Nikhil Advani’s Batla House is a film inspired by true events of the controversial encounter operation. It happened in Delhi in the year 2008. The film casts John Abraham as the lead who’ll play the role of a cop named Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and Mrunal Thakur as his wife.
Other supporting actors include Ravi Kishan, Nora Fatehi, Sonam Arora. This film will put forward the incidents that happened before and after the encounter operation.
(3) Once upon a time in Hollywood:
This movie has already released in America and received a lot of positive reviews from the audience. Quentin Tarantino’s film has a huge ensemble star cast of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Luke Perry.
The film set in the 60’s era Los Angeles where an aging TV actor(Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double and a longtime friend(Brad Pitt) embark on an eventual journey to make a name for themselves in the Hollywood industry.
Margot Robbie plays the character of a director’s wife who are neighbors with Leonardo DiCaprio. Do comment your reviews after watching any of the above films. Filmi Files is the best spot for tinsel town new and gossips.
