It also stars Mrunal Thakur who played Hrithik’s love interest but later got married to someone else. Hrithik brilliantly transformed himself for the role of Anand Kumar and showed his versatility once again.
9. Chhichhore: ₹212.70 Crore
This movie is based on friendship, it stars Sushant Singh Rajput & Shraddha Kapoor as leads. It takes viewers on a nostalgic journey to their college life. The two leads have a kid but are are divorced. Their kid tries to attempt suicide due to exam pressure. Sushant then starts to tell his & his friends story from college to encourage his kid.
8. Total Dhamaal: ₹228.27 Crore
A multi starrer, and the 3rd part of Dhamaal franchise has iconic characters. It also brought the most loved duo of ‘90s, Anil Kapoor & Madhuri Dixit back together onscreen. The film has an ensemble of Ajay Devgn, Johny Lever, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jafri, Ritesh Deshmukh & Sanjay Mishra.

This film is inspired from a team of ISRO scientists who got together to successfully launch Mars Orbiter. Mission Mangal shows the struggle of professional & personal lives of scientists and how they overcame them to make their country proud.

This film stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif, based on the storyline of India & Pakistan partition. It did not get any positive reviews but earned a lot of money. In this film, Salman Khan goes through a lot of professional changes to earn a livelihood for his family.

Based on true events, Vicky Kaushal starrer film is undoubtedly one of the best film of 2019. This film will fill every Indian with pride and is a rollercoaster of emotions.

This film is a remake of Telugu movie, Arjun Reddy. It stars Shahid Kapoor & Kiara Advani & is one of the most controversial film of 2019. However, this film managed to get a place in audience hearts. It is a romantic drama movie.
