Actor and Singer Ayushmann Khurrana is gearing up for his new film ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’s release. The trailer for the movie had been released online. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra the film ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’s trailer showcases the melodious era of the 60s and the emerging India of the 80s in a unique blend.
The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on May 12, 2017. Produced by Maneesh Sharma for Yashraj Films, the movie is directed by Akshay Roy.
Much hyped film from Yashraj Films stable ‘ Dhoom 3’ is lined up for release in December. As the release date is approaching fast the film company has released their latest song ‘Malang’ from the movie.
Sources in Yashraj informed few media persons that Malang is basically a high energy number which consumed Rs 5 crore while filming. According to media reports, the song features 200 professional gymnasts specially flown in from the US. The expenses include the fees of the gymnasts, their costumes and the elaborate sets. Whether the song will be worth all this money is yet to be seen.
Yashraj Films upcoming movie ‘Aurangzeb’ is Arjun Kapoor’s second outing in Bollywood, he had impressed fans and critics alike with his hard hitting performance in debut movie – Ishaqzaade. Jigra Fakira, which has a sufi touch to it, is sung by Keerthi Sagathia. Vipin Sharma has done the film’s music while lyrics are by Manoj Kumar Nath.
Directed by Atul Sabharwal, Aurangzeb boasts of an enviable cast including Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Prithviraj, Sikandar Kher, Amrita Singh, Deepti Naval, Tanvi Azmi and has been produced by Aditya Chopra. New Delhi: (IANS) He`s known as the King of Romance, thanks to his romantic sagas like “Kabhi Kabhie”, “Silsila” and “Lamhe” and Valentine`s Day is an apt time to pay tribute to Yash Chopra. PVR cinemas has organised a week-long tribute to the late filmmaker, starting Friday, when romantic blockbusters made by him will be screened.
“It gives me immense pleasure to offer our audience a romantic mix of movies to celebrate the most romantic day of the year – The Valentine`s Day,” Gautam Dutta, COO, PVR Ltd said in a statement.
“With love being a luxury commodity in today`s era, I feel ecstatic to have Valentine`s week at PVR cinemas, offering a stupendous mix of romantic movies by Yash Chopra, who was considered to be the King of Romance. We intend to satiate appetite of our movie aficionados for every occasion and hence bring to them a movie bonanza for celebrating as well as spreading love,” he added.
The films to be showcased are “Kabhi Kabhie”, “Silsila”, “Chandni”, “Lamhe”, “Darr”, “Veer-Zaara”, and “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”. The festival is being organised at the PVR multiplexes in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chandigarh and Ludhiana.
Mumbai: (IANS) ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (JTHJ), legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra’s last directorial venture, is raking in the moolah at the box-office — the romantic saga has collected over Rs.120 crore worldwide in just six days of its release. The film, which came out on Diwali alongside Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Son of Sardaar’, has earned Rs.80.73 crore at the domestic box office.
In India, it earned Rs.15.23 crore (Tuesday), Rs.19.54 crore (Wednesday), Rs.14.45 crore (Thursday), Rs.11.17 crore (Friday), Rs.10.38 crore (Saturday) and Rs.9.96 crore (Sunday). The Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma-starrer is also minting money in the overseas market where it has collected Rs.41.7 crore.
The first song of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ has been released online by Yashraj Films. This song ‘Challa’ showcases SRK with a guitar in the trademark Yashraj style.
