If you are an ardent fan of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukona, there is great news for you. The two stars are soon going to share screen space in India’s first aerial action franchise, Fighter. The film is going to be directed by War fame director Siddharth Anand. Siddharth has called the film his dream project.
It is worth mentioning that the Hrithik and Deepika’s Fighter was announced on the Hrithik’s 47th birthday on January 10.
Hrithik posted the Tweet on his Twitter account on January 10 that read, “Presenting a glimpse of the MARFLIX vision as #Fighter! Looking forward to my first flight alongside the exceptional @deepikapadukone. All buckled up for this #SiddharthAnand joyride.
Hrithik and Deepika had already expressed their desire to work with each other
Earlier, Hrithik and Deepika had revealed their wish to work with each other for a long time. Speculations of the two working together gained momentum soon after Hrithik was spotted feeding cake to the Padmaavat actress. The video of Hrithik and Deepika also went viral. Deepika spoke about the video later and said it is good how Ranveer and I can sit together and appreciate Hrithik. The video of the actor feeding me cake was a wakeup call for filmmakers to cast me and Hrithik together in a film.
Deepika also divulged that she and her hubby Ranveer enjoyed Hrithik’s 2019 action film War and how they were hitting the pause button several times to praise him.
Hrithik and Deepika’s chemistry to raise the heat
Meanwhile, Hrithik and Deepika have already impressed several with their outstanding acting skills and won millions of hearts. Their chemistry will certainly increase the mercury and will be a treat for their fans. Their scores of fans have been eager to watch them together for a long time.

According to reports, Fighter will become Indian cinema’s first aerial action franchise. The film is expected to be made on a vast scale to cater to the global audience. Siddharth believes that the yet to be released film will turn out to be a memorable big screen experiences for movie buffs. He said that he is happy to have somebody with Ajit Andhare, Viacom COO’s vision to be associating this with me.
Siddharth said, “This is definitely one of the most exciting moments of my life to bring together two of my favourite stars, Hrithik and Deepika, for the first time to the Indian and global audience. I am thrilled to begin the journey of MARFLIX, a production house dedicated to action film making in India. I start this journey of Marflix along with my life partner Mamta Anand. Starting MARFLIX with Hrithik is special as he is someone who has seen me even working as an AD, then as director on two films and now I am not just his director but I’m also starting my production house with him.”
Fighter will be produced by Viacom 18 Studios, Ramon Chibb, Mamta Anand, and Anku Pande. Fans feel that just like the Hrithik’s last release War created several records, Fighter too will be a record-breaking film.
The film is scheduled to be released in the month of September in 2022.
