Akshay Kumar being the busiest man in the B-Town is all set to greet his fans with back-to-back entertainment. And, this time his entertainment notion will not be restricted to films only. He has signed a web series along with 8 other films. Along with the release of ‘Sooryavanshi’ his film ‘Bell-Bottom’ release date is also announced.

And, it will make a grand entry into the cinemas worldwide, on 27th July. This movie is directed by Ranjit M Tiwari. And, it will be the first Bollywood film to be released in theatres after lockdown 2.0. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, theatres were locked up for more than a year. Now, theatres desperately need more than just a big hit. So, Akshay Kumar is all set for that if covid remains in check.

Due to the second wave of coronavirus in India, daily cases galloped to record highs in May are on the wane. Also, the Covid-19 restrictions at various places are being rolled back. Excluding a nasty surprise, within a few months’ conditions might look up, the way it was in early March. At that time Bollywood movies again started making their way to theatres with a decent capacity of audience. And at the same time, ‘Roohi’ managed to get a decent box-office collection. Well, the theatres are now craving for a whacking kick-start. This is where Akshay Kumar also known as ‘One-Man Industry’ in B-Town, comes in.

The superstar Akshay Kumar has confirmed nine projects. Whereas, eight of them are films and one is a web series. Some of the movies are completed and scheduled for release. Although, few of them are in post-production and the leftover projects are soon going to be shot. These projects are ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Bell Bottom, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘OMG- Oh My God 2’, and ‘The End’ web series.

This man hasn’t stopped here. Sources say that Akshay Kumar has already green-signaled a few more films. Although, their official announcement will be done soon. There is a prediction that if things go well, he will wrap up all of these projects before the end of 2022. This level of dedication deserves appreciation because apart from Ajay Devgan and John Abraham who have four-five films lined up. And, no other actors seem this busy currently. The way Akshay Kumar is whooshing things up, there is a probability that by the time ‘Sooryavanshi’ releases, this 53-year-old man will have more than 10 projects on pipeline. Well, the surprising fact is that all of these films were not planned three or four years down the line. And, Akshay Kumar might wrap up all his signed films before the scrap of 2022. If the theatres and cinema halls return to capacity by Independence Day. Well, there won’t be any amazement if he packs in one or two projects as well in the interlude.

Sooryavanshi Release:

Definitely, this is the magic of the art of management behind his work. Akshay Kumar is an artist who is known for winding up his films within three months on average. And, this is very evident in the release of his last four movies in a year. After throwing three back-to-back Rs 200-crore club superhits in 2019 with ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Housefull 4’, ‘Good Newwz’, and ‘Kesari’ crossing Rs 150 crore with ease. Also, in 2020 he would have repeated himself but the pandemic came in between.

The year 2021 can be the one for Akshay Kumar as he has finished the film ‘Sooryavanshi’ on time. And, ‘Prithiviraj’ was also on the verge for the final shot. Even though, Akshay waited to resume the shoot for ‘Prithviraj’ in Mumbai. Due to a lockdown in Mumbai, this was postponed. Now, Akshay flew to Scotland for the completion of ‘Bell Bottom. It was the time when the coronavirus first wave was at its peak. After returning from Scotland, he wrapped up ‘Atrangi Re’ on time.

The same goes for ‘Bachchan Pandey’, and now it is at the post-production level. If the second wave were not the case, this actor would have winded up a buoyant portion of ‘Ram Setu’. Nevertheless, Akshay Kumar is back with a bang after recovering from Covid and has already completed a few portions of ‘Prithviraj’. However, ‘Rakshabandhan’ is soon going to be shot, followed by ‘OMG- Oh My God 2’.

His schedule denotes that he will be very busy with his films for a year. And, it is expected that he will deliver a lot of varied content. In a crux, his films will target family audiences and OTTs. And, ‘Laxmii’ is verified proof of that.
